Welcome to Carolina 3D Print Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, www.carolina3dprintstudio.com, or engaging in our services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Website and Services.

1. General Use and Eligibility

Our Website and Services are intended for individuals who are 18 years or older and legally capable of entering binding agreements.
You agree to use our Services solely for lawful, non-infringing purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone for any reason, including suspected misuse, illegal activity, or violation of these Terms.

2. Ordering and Payments

Orders may be placed through our Website, email, or direct quote.
All orders require payment in full before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Pricing, materials, and production timelines are subject to change without prior notice.
It is your responsibility to review and confirm all details—including dimensions, materials, and designs—before production approval. Once approved, orders are final and non-refundable.

3. Custom Manufacturing and Customer Responsibility

All products we produce are custom-made based on client-provided files or specifications.
We are not responsible for errors, design flaws, or fitment issues originating from customer-supplied models.
If we assist with file repair or modification, such adjustments are provided without warranty and do not transfer design responsibility to us.
You acknowledge that 3D printing inherently involves minor aesthetic or dimensional variations that do not constitute defects.

4. Lead Times and Production Schedule

Estimated production times are provided as a courtesy and may vary depending on material availability, order volume, and printer capacity.
We make every effort to meet estimated completion dates but do not guarantee turnaround times.
Expedited service requests may be subject to additional fees.

5. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Orders are carefully packaged prior to shipment. However, once a package is transferred to a carrier, risk of loss or damage passes to the customer.
We recommend selecting insured shipping if protection against transit damage is desired.
Claims for shipping damage should be filed directly with the carrier, though we are happy to provide documentation or assistance.

6. Use Restrictions

We will not produce items that are:

  • Weapons or components intended for weapon use,

  • Objects that promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination,

  • Designs that violate copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws,

  • Any items prohibited under local, state, or federal law.

We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion if it conflicts with our business values or legal obligations.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content—including graphics, text, images, and logos—is owned by Carolina 3D Print Studio and protected under U.S. intellectual property law.
Customer-provided files remain your property. However, by submitting a file for production, you:

  • Confirm that you own or have rights to use the file, and

  • Grant us a non-exclusive license to manufacture the model solely for fulfilling your order.

We may showcase non-confidential project images (e.g., photos of completed prints) in our portfolio or marketing materials unless otherwise requested in writing by the customer.

8. Warranties and Service Disclaimer

All products and services are provided “as is” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We make no guarantee regarding structural integrity, durability, or functional suitability of 3D printed parts.
Variations in print color, texture, or finish are expected due to material behavior and environmental conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carolina 3D Print Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our Services or Website.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carolina 3D Print Studio, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • The production or use of customer-provided designs,

  • Intellectual property infringement claims related to your files,

  • Violation of these Terms or misuse of our Services.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

Orders may be canceled only before production begins.
Once production has started, all sales are final.
Refunds, if issued, are at our sole discretion and may include deductions for materials, labor, or administrative costs incurred prior to cancellation.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Website may include links to third-party resources or external sites. These links are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or data practices.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
